Transfers at Bradley International Airport
Rental Cars – The car rental companies at Bradley International Airport are located in different locations around the airport area. They each have a complimentary shuttle, operating during the companies’ opening hours, between the terminal and their office. The shuttles are found outside the Baggage Claim area.
It is recommended to arrange for the rental car in advance of arriving at the airport as there are no walk-up counters there.

The 30-Bradley Flyer shuttle runs between the airport and downtown Hartford every day of the week with departures around every 40 minutes during the weekdays and Saturdays, while on early mornings, late in the evenings and on Sundays they run approximately every hour. The journey takes around 30 minutes and the fare is low and payable in cash, as close to exact change as possible and no bills over $10.
Route 24 connects the airport with Windsor and Windsor Locks, including the Railroad stations in the respective location. This route only operates during weekdays beginning in the early mornings and ending in the late evenings. The journey takes around 20 minutes and the fare is the same as on the 30-Bradley Flyer bus.

Both RR Stations service the Hartford Line between New Haven, CT (further south), and Springfield, MA (just north of the airport), as well as Amtrak going north and south from the area. In New Haven transfers can be made to connections to locations like New York City, as well as to other train lines.

They usually have drivers waiting within a 5 minute drive from the terminal so the traveler can order the ride, shared or alone, through the company’s app once luggage has been collected from the baggage claim area.
Private transfers, limousines and shuttles have to be pre-arranged before the traveler’s arrival.
